2023 Homearama Awards Announced

Split Decision – Homes by Gerbus captures top honors among the People’s Choice Awards while first-time HOMEARAMA® show builder, Ashford Homes, wins big with the Judge’s Awards.

CINCINNATI, OH, July 21, 2023: The Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati (HBA) announced the award winners for its 60th Diamond Anniversary URBAN HOMEARAMA® held last month at Martin’s Gate in Newport, KY. This was the first HOMEARAMA® held in Newport, the first co-produced with the Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky and the second URBAN HOMEARAMA® held in the premier new home show’s history. Martin’s Gate featured 8-homes, including 3 single-family homes and 5 townhomes, ranging in price from $756k to just under $2M.

Voted on by show attendees, The People’s Choice Awards consisted of three categories including favorite home, favorite outdoor living, and favorite decorating. Homes by Gerbus swept the People’s Choice Awards with The Monroe taking home the highest honors in all three categories. Darren Myers and Ken Bowerman of Bowerman Myers Architects designed the winning home, while interior design was led by Amy Holt and Aubrey Delaet of Designs on Madison.
