With an exceptional site in Cincinnati’s East End, HOMEARAMA® 2020 made headlines with its grand opening on October 10. The show runs daily through October 25.
WCPO’s John Materese visited the site and noted that the home’s neo-urban setting “harkens back to the days when neighbors knew their neighbors.” The smaller lot size and premium location are major benefits. “Today's young professionals and empty nesters like to be in a community like this that is walkable, and has other features as well," said Dan Dressman, executive director of the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati.
WCPO footage shows that the homes overlooking the Ohio River are anything but cookie cutter: ranging from modern to Victorian, complete with Rookwood-tile fireplaces and stained-glass windows.
Coverage of the show in the Cincinnati Business Courier explained how the site itself is unique. “This year’s Homearama will be a one-of-a-kind show for several reasons,” Dressman told the Courier. “It’s the first show ever held within the city of Cincinnati, and the first infill home show developed from a reclaimed brownfield site.”
Local 12 news was also on hand at the show. The station’s HOMEARAMA 2020 photo gallery gives a quick look around the show on opening weekend.
Before you head over to Walworth Junction for the show, take a look at this drone footage of the site under construction.
Then make plans to visit this brand-new neighborhood with million-dollar homes featuring stunning river and city views. Tickets are available to buy online, in the HOMEARAMA app or at the gate. See you at the show!
