Eager to see what’s happening at HOMEARAMA? The cameras were rolling for the groundbreaking event at Walworth Junction, the site of this year’s show. Both WLWT and Local 12 captured the event.
The 57th annual HOMEARAMA is the first ever to be held in the city of Cincinnati. Local 12 spoke with T.J. Ackermann, managing member of East End Development about the unique characteristics of this year’s homes. Ackermann also described the advantages for owners of these new homes:
“We’ve never had homes like this in Homearama before so this is a special, unique occasion,” Ackermann told Local 12.
Seven homes will be featured in the show, WLWT reported. The new Walworth Junction community has space for 39 home sites total. This year’s HOMEARAMA homes are priced starting at $1.2 million and some are available for purchase.
At the groundbreaking on August 6, Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley also noted that the development has already created jobs in the city and will have a positive impact on the tax base.
Although the ceremonial groundbreaking just took place, builders have been hard at work on the site for months. “These are expensive homes and these are complicated homes to build. There are a lot of great features in them,” Ackermann told WLWT.
Additional information on the builders of this year’s homes is available online.
HOMEARAMA 2020 will take place at Walworth Junction in the city’s East End starting on Saturday, October 10 and running through Sunday, October 25. Tickets are available for purchase online. The large show site allows for social distancing and COVID-safe practices will be followed.
