With panoramic city views and a location that’s close to everything, CiTiRAMA 2021 will welcome visitors October 2nd through 17th. Martin’s Gate, a brand new community on the south edge of Newport, will feature custom homes that showcase the best in city living. As an added bonus, CiTiRAMA ticket holders will also be able to tour five newly completed homes at Walworth Junction during show hours. Walworth Junction, in Cincinnati’s historic East End, was the site of HOMEARAMA 2020.
CiTiRAMA 2021 represents several firsts: The first time the show is being held in Northern Kentucky, and the first time the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati is co-producing a show with the Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky. When complete, Martin’s Gate, which is perched on a hill overlooking Newport’s historic neighborhoods, will include 18 custom detached homes and 40 townhome-style paired homes. CiTiRAMA show homes will feature a variety of architectural styles and range in price from $850,000 and up. Townhomes prices will be in the $450,000 to $600,000 range and offer a range of sizes and floor plans. All houses will have stunning views of the Cincinnati skyline.
Martin’s Gate location offers easy access to many of Greater Cincinnati’s most desirable amenities: riverfront parks, Newport on the Levee, the Banks, the new Ovation concert hall and downtown stadiums. Shopping centers and restaurants are just minutes away. And, while the homes will offer urban style, the hillside community will remain a quiet retreat. Every home will enjoy private outdoor living spaces.
The site is located along the north and south sides of 13th Street and along the north side of 14th Street. Martin’s Gate takes its name from a mansion built nearby for one of Newport’s most prominent families in the 1850s. It was later renamed Mount St. Martin when it became a convent. The Martin’s Gate community will create a new urban village in Newport providing distinctive attached and detached homes with amenities like roof decks, open floor plans and residential elevators.
Like all CiTiRAMA and HOMEARAMA homes, the show houses will be built to the highest standards and incorporate the latest building innovations. Developer TJ Ackermann and Meierjohan Building Group are collaborating on the new community, which will feature brand new roads, underground utilities and distinctive landscaping and street lighting. As with previous shows, this year’s CiTiRAMA will give a handful of local builders the opportunity to show their best work to home enthusiasts from around the region.
More details on the show schedule and ticketing will be available later this year.
